One of the most imperative steps is choosing the right equipment to produce a high quality music video!!
Of course one of the first equipment we will be needing is my camera, a Nikon D7100 with a zoom lens of 18 mm to 105 mm.
The next thing I will be using is a Tripod to make our shots are more stable and aligned.
An SD card will of course be used to store the images in the camera.
I might use an iPhone12 as well for the shots that I can't seem to manage to get on the camera. It will be kept as an option of backup.
To go along with the phone I will be borrowing an airbird uoplay Gimbal to stabilize the phone from one of my friends.
One important thing that i will be using in my performative shoot is a fog machine. This is to establish an overall Indie look where the artist looks obscure behind the fog. This inspiration struck when I watched the Arctic Monkey's Arabella music video in black and white. While I knew making it black and white was a bit far fetched , I realized using a fog machine and a grey background might give me a similar effect.
Aside from this, some common equipment that will be getting used frequently will be a MacBook air that is connected to a larger Han spree screen with an HDMI and a USB inverter ( since I cannot afford an actual MacBook I bought one that had it's screen blown but with a perfectly fine motherboard , CPU card , graphics ram and storage memory. I chose to use it as a central unit for a pc instead). A red dragon mouse , and an apple keyboard. Alongside this a Wi-Fi router that gives me the most important thing of all (star emoji) MY INTERNET CONNECTION.
okay signing off now I'm sure you have read enough of my blabbering.
