With ideas revolving around dripping fake blood , of perfection born out of molding and training , and persons who put their hand down your throat ( metaphorically) to rearrange your pieces to their preference, a location was hard to find. The idea i had whipped up was conceptual in nature and the things i wanted to get showcase were not only hard to showcase but also portrayed the problem of where to showcase. I knew i needed some obscure location with nondescript setting that was perhaps interlinked with a touch of rugged humane imperfection and the ways they are built on to be made a certain way. My first idea of a location was a building that was in between construction , where i could find rubble and broken brick walls. This idea also quickly became hard to pull of due to the nature of socio-political landscape of Pakistan making it highly unsafe for me as a girl to roam around nondescript remote locations like these. The second thought was something I believe will lend a lot to my idea and will help it grow. My father co-owns a factory where i could easily find nondescript locations due to the nature of the area ( an industrial location with a lot of free land far out to the city. After Building my rough synopsis of my concept and then visiting the location i got to borrow a lot from the location itself for the integrity of the music video and have it integrate ideas of underlying marxist layers of the concept of socialisation. I took a took and decided to make small clips to show how i developed my final synopsis and idea.
